Congratulations!
Hello, everybody! The sale is over, and the results are in! A total of $330 was raised for Friends of the Earth. Thanks to everyone who helped out, and to those who were with me in spirit. Plus those who are friends of the family, became a member to be nice, and never looked at this blog again. Anyway, this is a good amount of money for a yard sale, and it is for a good cause! Thanks again to all!

The Sale is Almost Here!
Where has the time gone? The sale is almost here! This Saturday, from 10 AM to 4 PM, the event will collect as much money for Friends of the Earth (www.foe.org) as possible. There is a huge selection of toys, collectibles, and other merchandise to be found! A bake sale will include cupcakes, banana bread, lemonade, and cookies. Finally, a craft event will be hosted, allowing children to make art out of recycled items that can be provided and included in the bake sale (specifically cups, bottles, paper plates, ect.)! Remember, all proceeds will go to Friends of the Earth and, by extent, the Earth itself.

WE HAVE A DATE!
Hello, everyone! Mark your calendars, because the perfect date for the sale was found! The yard sale will take place on Saturday, April 21 from 10 AM to 4 PM. The rain date will be Sunday, April 22 - Earth Day! - at the same time. It will be located at 16 Laurel Place, Fanwood, New Jersey.
We are still accepting unbroken, clean items to sell. We are also looking for (get a pen and notebook) tables and garment racks to borrow. Please E-mail me and let me know if you would like to help out.

Gather Your Junk!
It's time to start thinking about the sale. Get your old piles of useless "treasures" and gear up for our big April sale.
We hope to not only sell your junk, but allow kids to create T-shirts at a craft booth. There will be a bake sale and lemonade stand.
Please let me know if you would like to help coordinate the bake sale or work on the advertising committee.
Don't forget to check out this webpage on this year's Green Expo at Kean University:

Hello!
Hi, I'm Josh. A couple of years ago, some friends and I organized a yard and bake sale for an environmental company to help clean the Gulf and temporarily relocate its aquatic inhabitants. This year, I plan to do this again, but with a different organization and for a different cause. We previously raised $553, and this year, I plan to break that record with activities for kids and more useless junk.
Save your unwanted holiday gifts; the sale requires more unwanted fabulousness.
